With the release of the JL Wrangler and EVO Manufacturing‚Äôs history in providing the most proven high-performance Jeep Wrangler Coilover suspension systems, we knew this high-performance product must continue the JL. Our primary focus from the moment we started this project was to build the most high-performance largest wheel travel, lowest lift (LCG) product possible. The JL suspension and inner wheel wells gave us an excellent canvas to do so.
Starting in the front with wide openings, high engine accessorial mounts and outboard shocks we found the ideal location. By placing the shock upper mount up and rearward of its factory location, we are able to tuck the shock in close to the frame keeping it further away from tire which allows for more tire clearance and less backspacing requirements, but also allowing for a longer shock, more actual wheel travel and even lower minimum lift heights. We then involved King Shock Technology and their engineers to build a specifically valved and tuned custom length 2.5 inch Diameter long travel remote reservoir coilover to maximize wheel travel while minimizing lift height requirements.
The high tucked in bracketry and custom long travel coilover produces the ultimate bolt on front coilover kit available. Through this engineering and detailing the EVO MFG JL NV2514 Front Bolt-on Coilover kit is able to achieve up to 14.5 inches of wheel travel with only 3.0 inch-5.0 inch (lift height is adjustable) of lift and most wheel and tire combinations will require a backspacing of 4.5 inches or smaller on Rubicon model JLs (Sahara/Sport 3.75 inch or smaller).
Necessary equipment is included to convert including brake line provisions, bump stop extensions, swaybar end links and hardware. All Bracketry is laser cut, CNC press brake formed and fixtured welded for great fitment. This product is easy to install by the mechanically inclined or professionals. Bolt on installation (Some cutting and drilling required).
Use with short/mid control arms (EVO MFG Enforcer Arms or other) require additionally EVO-3030F Front Limit Strap Kit (sold separately), factory front driveshaft compatible. Use with Long Arm kits (EVO MFG JL High Clearance Long Arm or other) does not require limit straps (EVO-3030F) to achieve stated wheel travel, in this configuration, aftermarket front driveshaft is required. Front Adjustable Trackbar required (not included).
